Volley ball, volley ball, vee- ball

Well the season is done with final set win over John Dearness. Well done to all the lads and a big thankyou to the parents who helped out with rides and support. Particualr thanks to Mrs. W who supplied me with the Penguins. Perhaps we'll manage a Christmas Co-Ed game with the Girl squad.

PA Days are here again

I remember once at a professional development day (or a sleep in as my grade 7's would call it) where we had bets as to which one of our students would still turn up to school. Of course it was a member of my grade 11 class who finally paid for repeatedly missing attendance and announcements.

If you're looking for things to do (before you start on your math H/W!) check out the WWE name generator, always good for a laugh.

Then , with your parents permission have a go on one of my favourate minclip games, and don't bother looking for England, we didn't qualify.

Have a great day
Sincerely
Phoenix Jackhammer

Friday is a PA day

Have a great day everyone. Remember that we have an elephant assignment for Monday. Check out the homework calendar to review the assignment. I'm expecting you to complete the
double bar histogram with pencil and graph paper first
, feel free to use a computer to jazz it up a bit.

My 2 cents

Personally, warming or not, It is my opinion that we need to reduce our use of fossil fuels and CO2 emissions (all emissions for that matter). Burning less oil, being more green makes good sense to me regardless of global climate change. However, if it takes a misconception to get us going in the right direction then so be it.

On the other hand

I think this is a little bias Against CO2, notice the cartoon of Al Gore and how they stack several scientists against him. However, for balance have a look and see what you think.

However, when Sir. David Attenborough speaks we should listen.

Climate change

.youtubeHere are a few videos to watch about climate change. Remember, DON'T believe everything you hear. Some people make mistakes and others lie. The Earth does seem to be getting warmer. There is plenty of evidence that CO2 is a factor BUT, there is no such thing as a scientific FACT; only a hypothesis based upon what we currently know, and we learn something new every day!
